Henry McCord 1823c - 1884

Henry McCord , according to all census reports was born about 1823 in Ireland. I am still searching for his place of birth and actual birth date.

I have found, on Ancestry.com,  a Henry McCard that sailed aboard the "Wakefield" from Liverpool to New York on 9 June 1836, age 13.  This may or may not be our Henry. He was alone, I checked the passenger list for names that were familiar and may have settled in the Ottawa Valley but found none.

The next record I have of him is in the St John's Anglican Church, Richmond, Carleton Co, Ontario when he married Mary Arkley on 19 February 1842.
The following is an email received from the Anglican Church Archives
